New Zealand education has developed state-supported Technology Institutes and Polytechnics, 16 such institutes have been developed to further higher education. They offer a multitude of courses. Vocational education is also supported in a big way in New Zealand.Intakes: Typically, there are two intakes in New Zealand: February and July. However, Technology Institutes and private institutes have several course intakes. Students practically can get admitted throughout the year given the number of intakes available.
Deadlines: There is no deadline as such in New Zealand, but it is recommended that applications be made at least 5-6 months before the start date to prevent last-minute rush.
New Zealand Study Visa Details Work Eligibility
Eligible students can work world standard of up to 20 hrs. per week during the academic year and 40 hrs. per week during holidays. Students completing 12 months or more in their course can work full-time during holidays. The student’s spouse is entitled to work full-time for the duration of the course.Post-Study Work Visa
Students will obtain a 3-year Open work permit after study completion of Level 7(Bachelors Program). Jobs can be applied in unrelated field too.
